Our client was using Viewpoint’s Field Time application to track their employees’ time. Not only did their users not enjoy using Field Time, but it will no longer be supported after December 2022. Nobious worked to develop the commercial Construction Management and Design-Build firm from Florida a customized time tracking solution designed to work the way their team works. The solution focused on mobile convenience for field team members while also providing a wide range of Administrative capabilities for the office. It was built on top of Viewpoint Vista, so no separate sync is needed.
Our client managed several warehouses where they stored thousands of pallets. Pallets needed to be barcoded so they could be tracked appropriately. Nobious developed a custom mobile application that could be installed on a smart barcode scanner device. Now their scanners connect directly to their centralized Inventory Management System. Inventory information can be communicated to and from each scanner and employees can effectively load and unload trucks using only their barcode scanner, even in cold weather, as everything is neatly tracked on the scanner screen for them.
In December 2020, Nobious partnered with a Canadian Road Construction company to replace their existing employee work Time Tracking application which was provided by their Viewpoint Vista ERP vendor. Their current solution was becoming very expensive and did not provide all the features they needed to use it effectively. They engaged Nobious to build them a custom in-house solution that more effectively met their needs. Their new system integrated tightly with Viewpoint Vista and eliminated their ever increasing monthly licensing fees for time tracking. Managers were excited for the opportunity to contribute to the creation of an approval process that works much better for them. Beginning in 2020, Nobious has been working with multiple construction companies to build a prototype of a mobile based employee Time Tracking solution that tracks time for a crew member. The idea is that crew members and management waste too much time regularly entering work hours into a system. We have developed a prototype solution that does this for them automatically. This solution can integrate with any ERP system and already integrates with Viewpoint Vista. A construction company was in need of a new system that controlled all of the personal information of employees, job titles of workers and outside help. Nobious created a custom system that was tailored to their every need, including the typical features one could find on an off-the-shelf program, along with custom features- like adding users who are outside of this specific company network. The system allows for timekeepers to create “groups” for who can track time for who, and who is allowed certain access over others. Data can be connected from other ERP systems within the company to automatically sync to Viewpoint Vista, which is controlled by the administrator.
