HR, Finance and Other Business Processes

Our customer was paying a large extra monthly fee for their ERP system’s Purchase Order Approval module. They wanted to save money and improve features, so they had us build a custom solution. It integrated tightly with their ERP system and managed their internal Purchase Order request process from start to finish. Custom approval rules can be managed within the system and all activity for each P.O. is tracked including vendor correspondance.

For this service-oriented client, it was becoming a problem to coordinate between Project Management and Accounting to determine when they were ready to invoice their customers. They contacted Nobious and we developed a solution to track invoice scheduling, reviews and approvals. The solution also integrates directly with the company’s ERP and Sales Commissions systems.

Our client had a common problem. They had a commission system separate from their ERP system, which required them to manually re-enter data on a monthly basis. In order to elminiate the duplicate entry, Nobious created a process to automically and reliably syncronize the data between their systems on a nightly basis.

Our client maintained a process that automated the collection and processing of employee travel requests and approvals.  They needed help updating the processes’ rules and features, as their internal developers didn’t have time.  Nobious stepped in and got the job done.  Now the client is working with Nobious to transfer the process to Microsoft’s new Power Automate platform, which will further increase the value it brings to the organization.

Our client wanted a standardized employee homepage where they could communicate important information to their employees in real-time. Nobious created a custom portal with an administrator console back end for H.R. The portal communicated each employee’s annual objectives, important tasks, birthday and corporate event annoucements, and much more. Employees could also edit their own HR information directly from the Portal at any time.

Our client had many internal systems, all of which required their employees to maintain a separate username and password. The client wanted all of their systems to be accessed from a single username, password and login screen. They wanted to do this without paying for an extensive third party credentials management tool. Nobious integrated their systems with Microsoft Office 365. Now when when an employee logs into their email systems or SharePoint, they are also automatically recognized by all their other company systems. Additionally, the process can be used more effectively to manage permissions and security.

After designing and developing a new Business Intelligence Data Warehouse for our client, Nobious was then asked to develop several management dashboards to make use of the warehouse. The dashboards were designed to provide instant insight to the field management team. Additionally, the reports were highly optimized and could be refreshed in just 3 seconds. The dashboard report was built on top of a Microsoft SQL Server database using SQL Server Reporing Services (SSRS).

A fully functional solution to manage the company’s annual employee performance assessment process was delivered to the client. Managers were able to identify reviewers for their teammates, and scorecards were automatically calculated at the conclusion of the fully automated process.
